On PEI, a new basketball training club, MICHAEL BASKETBALL VENTURES, has officially opened its doors, dedicated to providing year-round basketball training services for youth. The founder Michael Xie is from Fuzhou, China, and is a passionate basketball enthusiast with fourteen years of experience in youth basketball training.
Xie is not just a coach; he is a preacher of basketball. Over the past 10 years, he has established 26 basketball clubs in Fuzhou, China, serving over 27,000 students. Each summer and winter break, he would take his students to basketball camps in the United States, exposing them to North American basketball culture and advanced training models. At these camps, he had the fortune of meeting basketball legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. His fervor for basketball and commitment to its development earned the recognition of these two basketball giants.
Michael’s Basketball Club is committed to providing a year-round training platform and 1-on-1 customized sessions for all youth passionate about basketball. Xie’s basketball dream is burning with passion. Despite being in PEI, a place entirely unfamiliar to him, he encounters challenges with language and cultural differences.
